Most people in the Bangor/Orono are have experienced the Bangor City Forest and Orono Bog Boardwalk. They usually go for a specific reason, whether it be an early morning jog, educational purposes, or the beginning to a romantic 4th date. Yet these activities are not reserved for the local folk alone. For travelers into the area, we highly recommend this beautiful spot if you are looking for a true Maine experience.

The Orono Bog is a unique land area full of fascinating insects, trees, wild animals, and even a plant that is shaped like the pitcher of water on your living room table. (more…)
